Important Notes:

1. This Tuya Zigbee Gateway supports only Tuya Zigbee devices. It works with the Smart Life and Tuya Smart apps. It does not support other Zigbee ecosystems such as Xiaomi.

2. The Gateway communicates with the server via WiFi, but it does not communicate with Tuya WiFi devices. If your devices are Tuya WiFi products, this Gateway is not required.

3. The Gateway itself does not support Alexa, Google Home, or Yandex Alice directly. Third-party voice assistant compatibility depends on the connected sub-devices.

4. This device requires continuous power via USB; it has no built-in battery. Power adapter is not included.

5. There are four versions available — please select carefully based on your needs. Refer to the images for details.

Setup Instructions:

• To add Zigbee devices (e.g., Tuya Zigbee Door Sensor), select “Add Tuya Zigbee” in the app. The interface may vary slightly depending on your Gateway model.

• To add Bluetooth sub-devices (only supported on some versions like ZBG01, G01 PRO, BT03), choose “Add Tuya Bluetooth Sub-device.” The basic G01 model does not support Bluetooth.

FAQs:

• Installation Location:
  Install in an open area with a strong WiFi signal. Avoid enclosed metal boxes that block signals.

• Supported Devices:
  Typical Zigbee sub-device support: up to 30 sensors/devices. More possible if routers are in network. Bluetooth sub-devices supported only on specific models (ZBG01, G01 PRO, BT03).

• Transmission Distance:
  Zigbee range similar to WiFi (2.4GHz), covering your router’s typical range. Bluetooth range is 10-15 meters, can penetrate 1-2 walls.

• Need for Gateway with Tuya WiFi Products:
  No Gateway needed; WiFi devices connect directly to your router.

• Bluetooth Device Support:
  G01 does not support Bluetooth devices; ZBG01, G01 PRO, BT03 do.

• Zigbee Device Support on BT03:
  BT03 supports only Bluetooth sub-devices, not Zigbee.

• Power Cable and Adapter:
  Cable length: 100cm, Micro USB (may change to Type-C). USB cable is power only, no data.
  Power adapter: 5V/1A or higher recommended (not included). Avoid poor quality adapters for stable operation.

• Delay in Operation:
  The system depends on Tuya cloud services. Check your internet connection and WiFi-router-to-cloud latency. The app offers a network test function.

• WiFi Frequency:
  Most routers support 2.4GHz (often labeled on the router). Ensure 2.4GHz is enabled for device operation.

Troubleshooting Configuration Failures:

1. Ensure Gateway is powered on and indicator light flashes rapidly.

2. Confirm your mobile device is connected to 2.4GHz WiFi.

3. Give Bluetooth permission to Smart Life app and ensure phone Bluetooth and location services are enabled.

4. Check router functionality and network connection.

5. Verify WiFi password correctness during setup.

6. Make sure your router doesn’t restrict device access (e.g., MAC address whitelist).

7. If router uses the same SSID for 2.4GHz and 5GHz, consider renaming SSIDs and connect your phone to 2.4GHz.

8. If issues persist, turn off Bluetooth on your phone, reset the Gateway (long press reset for 5 seconds to switch to slow flashing), and add device via AP mode following app instructions.

Regarding Voice Assistant Compatibility:

The Gateway device itself is not visible in Alexa, Google Home, or Yandex Alice apps. Only compatible sub-devices connected via the Gateway will appear and be controllable via these platforms.
